Clinic vetting
How a clinic earns a place on your short-list.
Licensing, credentials, the physical facility, then the same review again every year. This is the part of the process that happens before you ever hear a clinic's name.
- 4 phases
- 16 documented checks
- Re-verified annually
Four checks a clinic passes before we ever name it to you.
Vetting here is documentation work: licensing, credentials, the physical facility, then the same review again every year.
Initial Discovery & Screening
Before a clinic enters our network, our coordination team conducts an initial screening based on publicly verifiable criteria. This includes confirming that the facility holds valid Turkish Ministry of Health licensing, verifying JCI (Joint Commission International) accreditation status, and evaluating the clinic's published safety record and patient volume.
- Valid Turkish Ministry of Health operating license
- JCI accreditation or equivalent international certification
- Minimum 5 years of operational history in their specialty
- No unresolved regulatory actions or sanctions
Surgeon & Physician Credential Audit
Facility & Safety Standards Review
Ongoing Compliance & Re-Evaluation
Accreditation and licensing are verified against the issuing bodies. A clinic that stops meeting the criteria is removed from the network.

Vetting a clinic is not the same as treating a patient, and we are careful never to let those two blur. The line runs like this.
- Astramedica verifies and coordinatesAstramedica does NOT provide medical treatment
- Independent physicians make all clinical decisionsAstramedica does NOT diagnose, prescribe, or advise on candidacy
- Partner clinics are independently licensed and accreditedAstramedica does NOT guarantee clinical outcomes
- Patients receive transparent information about the coordination processAstramedica does NOT act as a hospital, clinic, or healthcare provider
